Aquarium has already run eight times this year but is probably on a fair mark at present and has plenty of form on this type of going, though is often a slow-starter so stall one may not be ideal. Epaulement made all at Ripon but all of his form is on faster ground. Aasheq has returned in good form having followed up a win at Pontefract with a third in the City and Suburban at Epsom but was beaten by Aquarium at York and also by RESTORER (NAP) at Leicester in October. The latter hasn’t run since December but won this last year on his reappearance and can stage an encore off a 6lb higher mark. Sputnik Planum has a year’s absence to overcome but may have more to offer and Silvestre De Sousa rides. Dukhan and Frankuus also have claims.
