Verdict

Aroha did well to finish fourth at Salisbury considering she unseated and ran loose before the start. She finished in front of Birkie Queen and Love Love on that occasion while the latter’s stablemate Dreamy Rascal made only a modest debut at Windsor. Clive Cox sent out a newcomer to win this last year so Star Alexander is worth a second glance while two of these represent Godolphin. Final Song is related to winning two-year-olds but DIVINE SPIRIT is a half-sister to the useful sprinter Raucous among others and Charlie Appleby’s filly gets the vote having cost 850,000gns at last month’s breeze-up sales.
