In depth

Verdict

Golden Milan would have given eventual winner Cloudy Beach plenty to think about had he not over-reached and come down at the fifth-last here on his chasing bow and still has time on his side. Butlergrove King would have every chance in this on his form in the autumn and Bears Rails won at Exeter earlier this month having chased home progressive stayer Henri Parry Morgan here earlier. Abigail Lynch's stable is back in form but though ROSA FLEET hasn't fired in her last two but she returns to her winning distance today and has been eased in the weights. Venetia Williams' mare could be a bit of value in a competitive heat.
