In depth

Verdict

Marmont almost completed a double at Huntingdon in February when last seen and has had a wind operation since. The lightly-weighted Goal could be interesting if the ground doesn’t deteriorate but NAVAJO WAR DANCE’s run at Fontwell suggested he’s starting to get to grips with hurdling and he almost certainly has more to offer. Delface was well backed here earlier in the month but didn’t reproduce the form of an earlier second at Taunton. Sanok, Dont Be Robin and Captain Jack could all make the frame if getting the run of the race but Cappielow Park has an absence to overcome and Hollywood Ken probably didn’t beat much when returning to form at Fontwell.
