Verdict

MR LANDO receives a 7lb penalty for his victory ten days ago but he impressed on that occasion and clearly has struck up a good rapport with his 7lb conditional rider. He handled the heavy ground with aplomb at Plumpton and should deliver another solid account under similar conditions. Under The Woods is a major danger though as he takes to the track for just the fourth time and makes his handicap debut. It's interesting that Evan Williams has chosen to go down the handicap route rather than staying in maiden or novice hurdle company and he's certainly shown enough the last twice to be a leading player. Blue April has a shout but at longer odds it would not surprise if Flight To Nowhere got involved and he could represent some each-way value.
