Verdict

Abraham Lincoln has shown little of late and although this is slightly easier than some of the contests he has participated in of late he is passed on this occasion as he carries top weight. Superior Edge could be a major threat if taking to the track, as he has shown promise with three runs at Ffos Las this year. The ground won't be a concern for Our Piccadily who has won on various conditions and after an improved run at Bath last time could play a part. Equuleus Pictor is avoided considering he is having a poor year whilst Solemn will have to defy a career high mark. TAGULA NIGHT gets the vote just ahead of Cape Royal after beating him at Sandown earlier this month. The latter has since gone on to score at Windsor but based upon their most recent run together, Tagula Night receives the call.
