Verdict

Maxanisi is another Evan Williams' Ffos Las bumper winner making his hurdling debut in the second division of this novice event but he could find CHAMPAGNE AT TARA a tough nut to crack if Jonjo O'Neill's charge is back to his best following a pipe opener at Wetherby. The latter certainly has the past form to land an ordinary contest. Grand Enterprise has scope while Prince Mahler may be improving. Vic De Touzaine was returning from two years off when seventh here two weeks ago but may need more time.
