In depth

Verdict

This has the potential to be a decent bumper and AITEEN THIRTYTHREE will need to be useful to get the better of Qroktou and Double Pride. Double Pride, a half-brother to the smart Our Ben, ran on well to get the better of a well backed Noel Chance runner at Warwick on heavy ground and could prove to be an above average recruit. Qroktou finished well down the field in a Sandown bumper that has worked out well but showed improved form when narrowly getting the better of Priors Glen at Newbury. That, too, looked a fair race and he could be useful. Know Your Place and Keepthebooton are from respected yards and Buccaneer Bay makes some appeal on paper but we'll side with the runner from Ditcheat. The stable has huge resources but they still deserve credit for achieving a one in three strike rate in bumpers this season and it would be no great surprise were Aiteen Thirtythree, a half-brother to the yard's useful Forest Pennant, to do his bit for the statistics.
