Verdict

There are question marks hanging over a few of these but First Fandango ran his best race for a long time at Newbury last month and Richard Johnson takes over the reins with Alan Johns switching to top weight The Wallace Line. A case can be made for McKenzie's Friend in first-time blinkers and also Pillard, who is upped in trip. Moidore and The Artful Cobbler aren’t badly treated and Max Forte was fourth off today’s mark last time at Ascot. DECIMUS likes top of the ground and looked to be on the way back at Taunton two weeks ago when only headed at the last. He’s gone up 4lb for that but another big run is anticipated.
