Verdict

Monet's Garden is turning into a class act and can make the journey from Greystoke worthwhile, with Trouble At Bay and Exotic Dancer up against it. Nicky Richards has always had a high opinion of Monet's Garden and his faith has already been vindicated, with the six-year-old winning five of his six career starts to date. The son of Roselier's only defeat came in a Grade 2 at Aintree where he was second to Garde Champetre, and it was business as usual on his seasonal return at Windsor as he comfortably beat Monkerhostin. Exotic Dancer ran quite well until falling at the last on his British debut in the Gerry Feilden, but will need softer ground to be seen at his best. Trouble At Bay was well held by the selection at Windsor, and it will be a surprise if he turns the tables. We fully expect Monet's Garden to oblige en-route to a crack at the World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
