Non So is on a retrieval mission and gets the vote to atone ahead of St Pirran and Golden Alpha. Non So owes his supporters after falling two out on his return at Windsor with the race seemingly in the bag. He was coasting along on the bridle at the time and if none the worse for his mishap, should take all the beating. He has plenty of speed so the drop back in trip today should actually work in his favour, and Nicky Henderson's charge, winner of the Lanzarote over hurdles at Kempton in 2003, can land his first handicap chase. Grand Annual winner St Pirran was very disappointing on his return at Lingfield and may need another race or two, while Golden Alpha has to give weight away all round on his seasonal reappearance. The rest make little appeal, and if he stays upright today, Non So can add to the stable's tally in this contest, as they were successful 12 months ago with Got One Too.
