In depth

Verdict

Anglophile stepped up to two miles at Lingfield in January and won easily before beaten a head over the same track and trip in April. But Godolphin have another contender in FAMOUS KID (NAP), who takes a huge drop in grade having finished last in a Listed contest at York in July. He won a handicap over this trip at Meydan in February and his class can see him through. Treasure The Ridge has won three times on Polytrack and showed with a very good run on soft ground at Salisbury that this trip holds no fears but Castle Combe only landed a Class 4 handicap over the track and trip in September and this is tougher.
