In depth

Verdict

Most of these have shown only modest form to date. Sing Something, Kashtan and Nidnod were all placed last time without looking like winning with the former preferred on his third at Thirsk. Chief Entertainer and Wedge are likely improvers with the latter dropped in class after a debut at Newmarket but a chance is taken on the newcomer JUMEIRAH STAR. She is a half-sister to seven winners, including a winner on the all-weather, and Bob Cowell's filly is also preferred to stablemate Westbourne Grove.
