In depth

Verdict

Neither Lockram nor Mia Tesoro threatened on their respective debuts but showed enough to suggest they can figure with normal progress. Sign Of The Kodiac ran as though this extra furlong would suit when staying on for fifth over 5f at Carlisle while both Battle Of Bosworth and Vestavian are related to winners. But fellow newcomer CRIMINALISTIC is preferred given he is the second foal of a Group 1 winner in Australia and stablemate and half-brother Wordcraft made a winning debut at Newmarket last week.
