Verdict

DUBAI DIVA ran with promise on her seasonal reappearance and gets the narrow vote ahead of Follow The Sun and Simple Jim. The selection has not been seen since finishing fourth of fourteen at Southwell back in April. She has obviously had her training problems but is still unexposed. If she can recapture her best form she is sure to give her supporters a good run for their money. Simple Jim is five pounds higher in the weights since winning at this venue last time out. He is the winner of three of his last four races so comes into the race in blinding form, however the drop in trip is unlikely to suit and therefore he should be treated with caution. Dubai Diva is only lightly raced and is open to further improvement.
