Verdict

Kodicil just held on to win over 1m6f at Nottingham and this longer tip is not problem. But the veteran Weybridge Light will find this tougher than the amateur's race he won at Thirsk last time while Slipper Satin went close in a lower grade contest at Redcar recently and has been upped 3lb. Politbureau has a shout on his earlier third over 2m at Ripon but DI'S GIFT has been threatening to finally open his account and gets another chance in this racing off the same mark as when runner-up at Pontefract last time.
