Verdict

Tellovoi can be hard to peg back if allowed an easy lead but he’s poorly drawn for a front-runner. Mischief Managed was below par last time at Carlisle and may be ready for a rest but Supreme Power is in good form and was impressive over course and distance last time considering he had a high draw. Better berthed today, he should go close again despite an 8lb hike in the weights. Jason Hart may have to sit and suffer on NAPLES BAY from stall 14 but there is enough pace in this to give hope that the trail-blazers will be coming back to the others in the closing stages and John Quinn’s charge is one of those who will have benefited from recent rain. Meshardal has slipped to an attractive mark but is on a long losing run and is generally best over 6f.
