Verdict

Lizzie Butterworth gave KNIGHT VALLIANT a fine ride at Carlisle in October and has ridden the grey to his last three victories. The stewards enquired into his improved form that day but there's no doubt he was entitled to win on his early form and still looks well enough treated to score again. Flora's Pride won a novices' handicap here in February and is just 5lb higher so has to be considered but all of Scriptwriter's three victories have been on fast going. Endeavor was in fine form during the spring and has dropped to a winnable mark and though Martha Elizabeth hasn't run since 2010 David O'Meara has a fine record with similar imports from Ireland and she's one to note.
