Verdict

Powerful Presence won this last season off the same mark and it would be no surprise if he passed the post first again this year having won at Musselburgh last Saturday. However, he does have a bit to find with SANDY LANE on earlier running at Haydock and, given the latter can re-oppose on slightly better terms, David O'Meara's charge looks the one to be on. Clockmaker showed signs of a return to form at Chester last time and Solar Spirit finished closer over 6f at this track on his latest outing while the selection's stablemate Able Master has claims if rediscovering his best.
