In depth

Verdict

A wide open contest here with many in with chances on their best form but the main protagonists look to be Arctic Moss, Moyne Pleasure and Destino and the vote is given to Arctic Moss. The selection was a good second behind Top Brass last time out. That horse has since run well in a better race and as the selection runs off the same mark here he will be hard to beat. Moyne Pleasure rates the main danger as he won well last time when beating Roadworthy. However that was a seller and he will find this harder under his penalty on faster ground. Destino is another that could go well as he looks to be on a handy mark but he may just need the run after a 226-day absence and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder, Munaawesh is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with while Merryvale Man has ben let down by his jumping of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. We are therefore happy to return to Arctic Moss as our idea of the winner.
