In depth

Verdict

Alan Swinbank has won three of the six renewals so 1m4f Thirsk winner Entihaa has to come into the reckoning. Hawkeshead has also scored over the same trip while Mohawk Ridge was winning over 2m in soft ground at this track last month. Raleigh Quay is another recent winner who should be thereabouts stepping up in distance but GOLDEN FUTURE makes more appeal. He went close in better company at Musselburgh before finding 2m beyond him last time and Peter Niven's C&D winner can come best here. Bute Hall is another dropped in class and could also figure in a open contest.
