Verdict

Dilala can break his duck in this maiden at the expense of Our Choice and Letham Speil. The Barry Hills trained filly has improved throughout the year running some fine races in defeat. She has looked a little green in her races but looked as though the penny had finally dropped when finishing second behind Belero Again at Beverly last time out. She has everything to suit in this race and will take all the beating. Our Choice has been the the bridesmaid on each of his last two runs but ran with credit last time out when second behind Mpenzi at Bath last time out but further improvement is needed here. Having run so well on his debut at Ripon when finishing second Letham Speil was a huge disappointment at Leicester last time finishing out the back and is one to treat with caution. So for the winner we return to Dilala.
