In depth

Verdict

Romil Star, Bollin Thomas and Lucky Judge are the three for the shortlist in this competitive event and the nomination is given to Romil Star. The selection was a little disappointing at Southwell last time but he is dropped in trip today which should play to his strengths as he is a course and distance winner, and if he can run anywhere near his best then he will be difficult to beat. Bollin Thomas is back on the level after a run over hurdles and this looks less competitive then some of his recent assignments and he should go well. Lucky Judge is another who has been running over hurdles and he fell last time when a beaten favourite. However, he looks a little high in the weights at present and is probably best watched. Peters Imp is a course and distance winner from a shrewd yard so is worth noting in the market, but for the winner we return to Romil Star.
