HEARTHSTEAD DREAM appeals as the one to be with here and is preferred to Simarian and Last Flight amongst others. The selection is having his first run over fences this afternoon and has a little to find on form over timber but comes into the race at the top of his game following two good runs at Perth. The yard is in form as is Brian Hughes who rode a double here on Saturday and he knows the gelding having been aboard for his penultimate start. Simarian had been struggling over hurdles having probably been a shade too high in the weights but he enjoyed the switch to chasing when chasing home the useful Cockney Trucker at Newton Abbot. The experience will stand him in good stead and the form gives him leading claims but he did tend to run in snatches. Last Flight makes her chase bow on the back of an absence but her yard's horses have been running well in the main and fitness is unlikely to be an issue. The trip could be more of a concern as she does stay well but she is still feared. Indian Pipe Dream has form claims but doesn't always find a great deal in the closing stages and preference is for Hearthstead Dream.
