Verdict

Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Chabrimal Minster, Ross Comm and Sir Frosty and the tentative vote is given to Ross Comm. The selection is thrown in on his best form of a couple of seasons ago and he was a good fifth in the Scottish National behind Hot Weld. This looks easier and with his useful conditional taking off a further 7lbs he looks the one to be on. Chabrimal Minster rates the main danger on his best form but he is best when allowed to dominate and as he looks sure to be taken on for the lead he looks the one to take on. Sir Frosty is another that could go well. He goes well at the track and if any rain arrives he would be a danger to all. Satco's Deception was a fauir second behind Jim Lad last time out and should improve for the longer trip while Catch The Perk would be a danger to all if on a going day but for the winner we are happy to return to Ross Comm who looks sure to run his race.
