Verdict

Denbera Dancer gets the vote over Red Blossom, Cooperstown and Mangano to name but a few. Having started off over six furlongs last year, Denbera Dancer was upped markedly in trip to a mile-and-a quarter on his second career outing at Newmarket 18-days ago, and found the trip just too far. Mark Johnston drops him back to a more suitable trip here, and this full-brother to Rumplestiltskin, who will be fitter for that reappearance effort, can pay to support. Red Blossom has had three runs now and qualifies for handicaps, so will be interesting in future, while Cooperstown, for whom there was money at Hamilton, is another that will at least be suited by this shorter trip. Mangano is already fully exposed, but hails from a stable doing better now than at the start of the season, so is to be considered for a place. For the winner though, we like the look of Denbera Dancer.
