Sharoura was just touched off at Thirsk last time, and can go one better here to give the in-form Richard Fahey stable another winner; Mistress Twister and Blonde En Blonde both have reasonable each-way claims. Blonde On Blonde is a game filly and has slipped to a handy mark so should be able to hold her own here, while Mistress Twister, a lightly-raced filly from David Barron's yard, was disappointing on her handicap debut last time but can prove better than that. Efimac hails from the Neville Bycroft yard that landed a huge double at Beverley on Tuesday, so would have to be considered, as would Spring Dancer, who has changed stables since its last run and is very well handicapped on juvenile form. But the horse with by far the most solid credentials here is Sharoura. This eight-year-old mare seems to be improving, and was just touched off in a better race at Thirsk last week. She is well treated on that form, and is only five pounds higher than winning at Pontefract last month. She deserves another race and is napped to give Richard Fahey and Paul Hanagan another winner.
