In depth

Verdict

Parley could well figure on her handicap debut and Lady Layla has claims if lasting home over this easy mile. She's A Character is exactly that with a win at Doncaster separated by a couple of woeful efforts while stablemate Nemushka's good progress has faltered this year. A similar comment applies to HOT ROD MAMMA, who won five times in 2011 including a win over C&D. However, she looked a bit more like her old self at Chester last time and, with a decent apprentice in the plate, a return to form looks imminent.
