Verdict

The consistent Life Is Beautiful is bound to be popular with backers along with the lightweight Danefonique but preference, at the other end of the handicap, is for Turn Of Phrase. Richard Fahey has his string in fine fettle at present and the son of Cadeaux Genereux showed improved form when chasing home Red Forest at Musselburgh last week. Set to go up 4lbs in future handicaps, on the basis of that run, Turn Of Phrase gets the vote to go one better today. Life Is Beautiful has done little wrong of late and should again be thereabouts but appears a shade high in the weights at present so a bigger threat may come from Danefonique. The three-year-old has slipped to a fair mark and indicated at Beverley last time that her turn would not be far away. Scurra has claims on his best but is not completely reliable and of more interest may be Border Terrier, who comes from the stable of Micky Hammond that has been among the winners of late. Hollywood Critic is less exposed than many of these and is another to consider along with Linda Perratt's Sherwood Forest. A market move for the well-treated Dee Pee Tee Cee would be of interest but the vote goes to Turn Of Phrase who is taken to make the most of the favourable terms.
