In depth

Verdict

Dowlleh is selected in the fianle, with Baileys Outshine and Telltime expected to throw down the most solid challenges from the rest. Telltime won her maiden in good style before finding life tougher in her handicap debut last month. Still the experience will have taught her plenty and she shouldn't be underestimated. Baileys Outshine represents a yard in good from and, as she has been knocking on the door lately, James Given's filly merits plenty of respect. The switch to turf shouldn't be a problem and the daughter of Inchinor may be the fly in the ointment this afternoon. However, Dowlleh has proven herself at this idiosyncratic course and, with this representing a slight ease in grade, this appears to be a fair opportunity for the mount of Fergus Sweeney to strike a blow and get off the mark for the season.
