    Verdict

Master Robbie is on a roll and will be looking to land his second win in the space of three days in the card's most-valuable race, but Baldour is selected to exact some revenge upon him. The Mick Channon-trained Master Robbie won from this mark at Newbury on Wednesday - with Young Alex weighted to go close on that run. However, Baldour, now five pounds better off, was just three-parts-of-a-length behind Master Robbie at Goodwood on 22 May (Goodenough Mover held on that form) and he can turn the tables on these revised terms. Philip Hobbs' Flat runners invariably go well and Tesio, despite carrying top weight, could go well now that he steps up to seven furlongs for the first time since the very first run of his career. The move should suit him. Flint River has been going great guns on the all-weather but has not won on Turf since his two-year-old days. Donatello Primo is tried in cheekpieces but they would need to bring about some improvement. George Stubbs' wins have cone at eight and ten furlongs, while Taranaki, well weighted on the pick of his form, is also capable of reversing form with Master Robbie based on their Salisbury runs on 15 May.
