Verdict

Powered is a winner without a penalty having taken an apprentices’ race at Windsor last week. Halling's Wish has been thereabouts on the all-weather and Becky Butler takes 7lb off his back today but Ross Birkett rode last year’s winner and has every chance of doing so again with STRICTLY ART. The latter won at Goodwood early this month and has gone close in both starts since. Beaumont's Party is a recent winner over hurdles but hasn’t won on the Flat for some time now.
