In depth

Verdict

Daniel Mark Loughnane and Shane Kelly have become a good combination and VERUS DELICIA should give a useful account for them here after bouncing back to form last time with a meritorious second to Feel The Heat in a competitive if low-grade Thirsk handicap sprint. She should be spot-on now and is feasibly treated off a mark of 55. Interestingly it was around this time last term that she found her form. Amenable is a major threat. He keeps threatening to pick up a handicap sprint and was desperately unlucky in running at Beverley last time when a 2l seventh. He's worth a saver, whilst the consistent My Own Way Home continues to perform well and should be on the premises dropped down in grade. Recent winner Russian Bullet is also respected.
