Verdict

Little form of any substance and caution is advised, although the market may prove instructive. G MAN was last of four here on debut but didn't perform too badly and the form has since been boosted by the 5l success of the runner-up at Redcar on Saturday. Olly Stevens enjoyed a juvenile winner at Royal Ascot last week and can prove that little fish are just as sweet here. Zafraaj improved on a nondescript debut quite considerably when runner-up here last time behind Pound Piece and further progress should be forthcoming. Douneedahand wasn't disgraced on debut but the one to monitor closely in the market is Picks Pinta, not seen since finishing in mid-division in the Brocklesby at Doncaster in the opening juvenile event of the season.
