Verdict

It's difficult to know whether the progress made by GIOVANNI DI BICCI has been solely down to racing on Polytrack but it's more likely he's just improving and, though up 7lb for completing a four-timer at Kempton, could still be well treated and can gain victory number five. Ravenous is better on Turf than the all-weather as he showed with a very good run on soft ground at Windsor last week and he has to be on the short-list from the same mark. Eastern Dragon completed a double on the all-weather and though up 9lb has won from higher marks in the past but Skidby Mill's form on Turf doesn't match that on artificial surfaces. Ice Slice has competed at a higher level and will enjoy the conditions but Knight Of The Air's only victory came on very fast ground.
