Verdict

Perfect Alchemy was given a very confident ride to complete a Polytrack double in February and the assessor has been unable to put her up too much as she only won narrowly. She's won from higher marks than this on Turf and the soft ground is in her favour. Fingal's Cave went up 6lb for his victory on Tapeta and didn't perform as well as expected at Chelmford later. But he looks very well treated on his juvenile form and has to be a threat. BADDILINI has been unable to go the pace over 6f at Lingfield on his last two starts but both races were in much better class than he faces here and he's racing from a 14lb lower mark so gets the nod. Outback Ruler completed a double last May and would have an obvious chance on that form, though he hasn't had a run since October, while the two victories of Jimmy's Hall on this track were gained in lower grade. Pick A Little is best on faster ground than he'll face here.
