Kilim sprang a surprise here last month under Nicola Currie and is only 4lb higher. Altaira arrives off the back of a victory over 1m2f at Bath but did win over this sort of trip in his younger days in France. The interesting one, however, is LORD E as he won easily over hurdles at Fontwell on his latest outing having been placed a couple of times at Lingfield - he can still race off a plater’s mark on the Flat. Midnight Mood may be best of the rest but that’s not saying much.
