In depth

Verdict

Brenin Gwalia gets the vote here with Sun Quest and Linkslade Lad rated as the main dangers. The selection was a close second behind Movethegoalposts last time and this colt certainly looks like one to stay on the right side of. He is not ideally drawn but he should prove too strong. Sun Quest was a little disappointing on his debut at Windsor but he was slowly away that day and as he is sure to come on for the run he has to be of interest. Linkslade Lad finished in front of Sun Quest in that Windsor race and that was a much-improved effort. There may be more to come and he is one to note in the market. Cape Runaway was disappointing on her debut but she will benefit from the experience and she does have a good draw. However, it should be a case of third time lucky for Brenin Gwalia who gets our confident nomination.
