In depth

Verdict

The suspicion remains that House Point will come good sooner or later at around this trip and strong market support would certainly swing the vote her way but the hopeful nod goes to another runner who may well come in for support in CATBELLS. The booking of Robert Winston bodes well for the well-handicapped filly as he has a decent strike-rate for Alan Bailey and she ran a little better than the bare form suggests at Wolverhampton last time. Richard Hughes is clearly a significant booking for course specialist Prince Valentine but he's never won beyond a mile and the consistent Corrib may hold stronger claims whilst Rocky Mood, Broughtons Dream and Forty Thirty are relatively unexposed on the level and are worth considering.
