    In depth

    Formwatch

Fletcher Likely to need the outing today and is hard to enthuse over despite his ability to handle any ground.

Lancer (USA) Goes well for his lady rider and handles the ground so should be capable of figuring in the finish.

Woodyates Won a soft ground Windsor seller last term but has been out of touch in two outings over hurdles this winter and doesn't appeal.

No Language Please (IRE) Won here over C&D last year on fast ground and should give a good account of himself again although his ability to show the form on this going is debatable.

Single Currency Poor hurdler who looks way out of his depth here.

Waikiki Beach (USA) Not getting any younger and saves his best these days for the A/W tracks; hard to fancy.

Caradoc Hurdler who handles soft ground and should give his rider a nice run round but is unlikely to be fast enough.

Alka International Not seen on the level for many years but will love the ground and is no forlorn hope.

Needwood Mystic Prefers better ground but does have some form with give and stable must always be respected in these type of events.

Bless Scored at Lingfield recently but seems better on the sand than turf and looks worth opposing today.

Tommy Carson Ran well in bad ground over hurdles last month and is not totally out of it on that form.

Stitch In Time Decent all-weather handicapper who won in fine style last week but is worth opposing based on preference for fast ground on turf.

Kentucky Bullet (USA) Should stay and ran respectably for today's rider last time; outside chance.

Oloroso Difficult to enthuse over on four modest runs so far.

Dancing Al Shaped well at Nottingham last time and comes into the reckoning on the basis of that effort; each way chance.

Millennium Bug Not beaten far in German listed race last time but may need more time to adjust to racing over here.

Tajar (USA) Out of form so far this term and looks up against it again.

Famous (FR) Officially rated a lowly 17 - say no more!
