    In depth

    Formwatch

Indian Sun Out of sorts last three starts, but has won on heavy in the past and can't be ruled out being well in at the weights.

Roi de Danse Dropped in grade after some poor efforts; has won over C&D before though and can't be totally discounted.

Damien's Law No show all outings and looks set to struggle.

Detachment (USA) Selling hurdler not seen on the level for some time and likely to be in need of the outing; hard to fancy.

Kingchip Boy Veteran campaigner on the downgrade and with no chance at the weights.

Max (FR) Poor form over much further and will surely find this trip too short.

Neronian (IRE) Best on fast ground and scored here over shorter trip last term; today's conditions unlikely to suit.

Shudder Better at six furlongs and likely to need the outing; should come on for the run.

Bunty Moderate form on A/W this term and should find a few too good once again.

Kosmic Lady Has bits and pieces of form but is hard to fancy at the weights.

Sandy Ground (FR) Modest plating hurdler and little form on the level in France prior to joining present handler.

Stoney Garnett Has a chance on his best form but has yet to race on soft ground; if he handles the conditions he could run into a place.

Strat's Quest Unreliable performer but does handle soft ground well and could surprise if in the mood.

Charmed Nearly always closer to last than first and unlikely to break the sequence here.

Lionel Andros Well fancied on debut and must have shown something at home; not disgraced subsequently and could be a blot on the handicap but it's asking a lot of an unexperienced horse to beat these old stagers on ground he's never encountered before.

Jetstream Flyer No show on only start but open to a deal of improvement; stable in form.
