Verdict

A nightmare of a race to try and save the day with and not one of the field would win any awards for consistency. However, if the last two performances put in by Blue Symphony can be forgiven, a firm case can be stated for the Darshaan filly. Ed Dunlop's course specialist is just preferred over Highclere Memory and Florenzar, who are capable of at least filling the frame at this level. But Blue Symphony has at least that there are races to be won with her on occasions and her liking for these undulations is just enough to swing the pendulum of hope in her favour to prevail in a race that will not live long in the memory.
