Verdict

The ease in grade could be a key factor in Concubine's bid to reverse recent form with A Woman In Love so the daughter of Danehill is selected as the value option in a tricky race to fathom; with the in-form Scarottoo also very much respected on the shortlist. There are numerous dangers out the rest though, and the likes of Johnny Ebeneezer and Alafzar will not make it easy for whichever of their rivals sets the early pace. However, as Concubine is versatile regarding her ability to handle a switchback track, she could have the race run to suit today. The selection also has plenty going for her with her on the official figures this afternoon as she meets A Woman In Love on 8lb better terms than the last time they met. This, combined with her proven well being at the moment, only bolsters the confidence as Concubine bids to make the most of her very attractive mark today.
