    Verdict

The form figures of SECRET MISSILE suggest he is not the most consistent of performers so perhaps it's no surprise that William Muir reaches for first-time blinkers. Both wins on Turf have come at Bath but, although he's yet to operate on ground with any cut, he should not be inconvenienced by forecast conditions. He may just have too much quality for Ruby's Day, much improved when landing a Ripon apprentices' handicap under this pilot last time and an obvious danger if the combination repeat that form here. Vincentti has found some solid form for Ron Harris on recent outings and will figure if remaining at that level as both successes have come with some cut in the ground.
