In depth

Verdict

A competitive opener which sees the 11-year-old Boom The Groom attempt to follow up a victory over 6f here in June. Street Parade also has winning form here and there was nothing wrong with his latest third at Sandown. Holbache is starting to look well treated but ANTIPHON just came up short off this mark at Newmarket 11 days ago and deserves a change of luck. Desert Team has yet to run a bad race and looks the danger with Harry Burns claiming 5lb, though The Defiant hasn’t been beaten far in his last three and can reverse Windsor running in the spring with Son And Sannie.
