In depth

Verdict

Riley Boys is taken to make it four course wins at Beverley in what will probably not prove a competitive contest, with Little Jimbob to play bridesmaid again and Sky Quest not out of it. The selection loves it around here and stepped up to this trip to win going away from Augustine over c&d last time. A 6lb rise will make it tougher, but with both general form and course form clearly a plus and nothing sensational in opposition he is taken to score. Little Jimbob was outbattled by Folio at Ripon a week ago and although there is little wrong with his resolution, he did hang a bit under pressure and if that is as good as he is then he will have his work cut out here. Sky Quest has plummeted in the handicap and is creeping closer to his next success, so don't discount him, but little else appeals and we take Riley Boys to score.
