In depth

Verdict

Plenty to consider in this race but Fast Feet is taken to get off the mark at the fourth time of asking. Taurian and Fred's Lad look likely to chase him home. Kevin Ryan's colt only went down by a head last time out at Chester (did well after a sluggish start) and on this more conventional track, he can stay on to win up this stiff finish. He has the best of the draw and can score today on ground that suits. Fred's Lad was unfancied on debut (25/1 winner) but was then well-held at York. However back on this quicker ground he must rate a very live threat, along with Taurian who improved on his debut run to score at Hamilton. The form of his run over course and distance looks rock solid and he cannot be underestimated. Bahama Baileys will appreciate the uphill finish here and is of interest, however Fast Feet deserves to win soon and can do so today.
