Bit Of A Quirke has run seven times around here and won five though never over a trip this far. However, he's performed well at 2m so the trip won't be a problem and he's only 1lb higher than his last winning mark. Just Wait landed a novices' contest over this trip at Hamilton though that was on soft ground. ARCHIVE is incredibly versatile and escapes a penalty for last week's victory in an apprentices' race under Ben Robinson so is likely to take some beating. Airplane's two victories have been at Class 6 level while Flower Power won a seller here last summer though did manage to complete a double in Class 6 company later.
