Verdict

Victory Angel made late headway when fourth in the Scottish Sprint Cup at Musselburgh and should have come on for the run. But MUSCIKA was prominent for a long way on his reappearance over 6f at Doncaster and the drop back in distance won’t be a problem for David O’Meara’s charge, who had the speed to win over 5f at York last season. Nibras Again and Saluti are race-fit and previous course and distance winners while Ginger Jam has run here five times and won on each occasion. Queen's Order is also respected but last week’s Bath winner King Of Stars has a penalty to carry. Jawwaal goes well fresh and is preferred to Music Society even though he’s looking a few pounds too high at present.
