    Verdict

ROWAN LODGE has won over C&D and was not beaten far in a couple of starts in similar company here last month. He has winning form on a soft surface and is preferred to Silly Gilly, who has yet to score over today's trip but went close to doing so under today's amateur on her penultimate start. Rub Of The Relic is a regular in these events and had Tropical Duke behind over C&D recently, while Classic Descent has claims on his best form over shorter trips.
